• If some of your guests are older teenagers - 16 years or older, it is proper etiquette to send them an
  individual invitation, just like you would an adult.
   
• If you don't wish to include children at the ceremony, don’t include their names or "and family" on the outside
  of the envelope. You may want to include “Adults Only Please”, or “Please leave the little ones at home”.
   
• In some cases, you may want some guests just at your ceremony, and not at your reception. If so,
  it is best to get two sets of invitations printed – one that includes reception information and one
  that doesn’t. This will save any confusion towards your guests.
   
• If you don't receive a reply from some guests by your reply date, do not hesitate to call them. It is
  important that you know how many are attending so you budget accordingly.
   
• Always double check all your stationery information BEFORE it gets printed. Check for spelling errors,
  and make sure everyones names are spelt correctly. Once you forward it to get printed, this is exactly
  what will get printed, so you can’t afford to have any mistakes. It is best to get a couple of different
  people to check it for you. This includes invitations, response cards, envelopes, wedding programs, etc.
   
• For a truly traditional wedding, it is best to stay with the standard white, or offwhite (ecru) colours.
  You can have these in different textures, but no bright colours. Also to keep with tradition, you should
  stay with the traditional invitation wording. You can find this on our wording samples page.
   
• Keep your font choices to a maximum of 2. You don’t want your invitation looking too busy. It is best
  to have a good script font for headings and names, and a more standard/traditional font for the rest

• The words you choose for your invitation, will be treasured, often forever, so it is important to consider
  them very carefully. They should be informative, accurate and heartfelt.
   
• Along with the official invitation, it is a good idea to send along all the information the guests will need
  to know. This includes the style of dress, gift registry, map on how to get to ceremony and reception,
  names of hotels in the area for your guests to stay at, and a rsvp stamped envelope to ensure a
  hopefully quick return of your rsvp.
